SOLD OUT – Our AGM Luncheon event is set to take place Thursday 13 August 2026 at 11:45 for a 12:00 noon start at the Doltone House, Hyde Park special guest speaker in conversation with Dr Chris Brown, one of Australia’s most recognisable television personalities, combining a successful career as a veterinarian with decades of experience as a television host, producer and author.

Chris was discovered as a talent for television after entertaining a pub crowd with stories from life in vet practice. Within weeks, he had joined Seven Network’s Harry’s Practice, launching a television career that has seen him become a trusted and familiar face in Australian households.

Over the years, Chris has hosted and appeared in some of the country’s most popular programs, including Burke’s Backyard, Bondi Vet, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, The Living Room, Vet Gone Wild, Dancing with the Stars, My Reno Rules and Once in a Lifetime, which he also co-created and executive produced.

Despite his busy media career, Chris remains passionate about veterinary work and animal welfare, continuing to work on wildlife conservation projects around the world while also practising at Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital.

An accomplished author, Chris has released two books, Family Guide to Pets and Tales from a Bondi Vet, sharing his unique blend of expertise, humour and storytelling.
