Why you chose your career and joined your current company?

I was initially drawn to insurance because I enjoyed the balance between analytical thinking and building relationships with people. What surprised me most was how collaborative and people-focused the industry is. Every day presents a different challenge, and there is always something new to learn, which makes it an incredibly rewarding place to start your career. I joined Gallagher specifically because of its reputation for investing in graduates and creating opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. From the moment I started, I was encouraged to step outside my comfort zone, take ownership of meaningful work and ask questions in a very supportive environment.

What do you want to get out of the grant?

The grant represents an incredible opportunity to accelerate my development at the very beginning of my career. While the funding will allow me to strengthen my technical foundation and learn new skills, I believe that the greatest value of the grant lies in the mentoring and networking opportunities it provides. Having the opportunity to learn from women who have once stood where I am today and have navigated the same uncertainty is invaluable, and I look forward to learning from their experiences and building connections throughout the industry.
