Why you chose your career and joined your current company?

With a double degree in Law (Honours I) and Social Science (majoring in Social Justice), I am driven by a strong commitment to justice and equality. I chose to pursue a legal career to create meaningful impact through my work, which led me to Wotton Kearney, a firm whose values align with my own. Through its Community Footprint Program, I’ve been able to contribute to the community via regular pro bono work and had the opportunity to undertake a secondment with the Centre for Women’s Economic Safety in 2024. My role in Wotton Kearney’s General Liability team has exposed me to complex legal matters where outcomes require a careful balance of interests and a focus on fairness, allowing me to stay deeply connected to my passion for justice in a practical, real-world context.

How long with the firm?

As a young woman entering a complex and evolving field, the chance to learn directly from experienced women in insurance is invaluable. Their guidance will help me navigate challenges with confidence, deepen my understanding of the sector, and support my growth into a well-rounded, impactful legal professional. This program offers an unparalleled opportunity to shape and refine my professional identity, connect with inspirational women shaping the industry, and learn from their diverse experiences and career paths.
