SOLD OUT – Our Autumn Lunch is set to take place at 12 noon, Thursday 23 April 2026 at the Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf with special guest speaker Liz Ellis AO – a highly respected former international netballer, advocate for women’s sport and a much-respected voice in Australian sports and sport media. Following lunch will be networking drinks on the balcony.

Widely regarded as one of Australia’s most beloved personalities, Liz was one of Australia’s highest profile elite athletes, and ranks as one of Australia’s most successful netballers. Liz played an incredible 15 continuous seasons with the Australian Netball Team, the last four as captain, leading the team to a World Cup victory in 2007, the tournament which marked her retirement.

Liz holds an impressive television career which includes: “Queen of the Jungle” and “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” among others, as well as a general sports commentator and presenter; including the 2000 and 2004 Olympics and 2006, 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Nowadays, Liz is a regular co-host on Sports Sunday and commentator for the Suncorp Super Netball on the Nine Network.

Born in Windsor on the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales and enveloped by farm and bushland, Liz is equally at home coaching her daughter’s junior netball team and working on her family farm, as she is in front of a television camera or sitting on a company board.
